BRAND-NEW WEBSITE WITH SHOP FOR IMPULSIVE WALRUS BOOKS!

Hi everyone! You've probably noticed that our old website at impulsivewalrusbooks.com has been down for a while-- or maybe not! Maybe you got redirected here. Either way, Frog and I are happy to see you! We had outgrown the old WordPress site in a number of ways, so we're excited to start trying out all the bells and whistles of this new site!

The newly re-invented impulsivewalrus.online does several things that the old one just wasn't suited for:

• We have a website with shop-- where you can find all our titles, including several special editions only available directly from Impulsive Walrus or Impulsive Walrus authors! As we release new titles or title updates, I plan to have more goodies as a bonus for coming to us-- or buying from our authors at events

• We have event calendar where you can see live and virtual events with our authors.

• We al so have a brand new member area for readers, authors, and creators with three specialized groups!

It has always been one of my (and Frog's!) goals to support and empower creatives endeavors by providing opportunities to talk, learn, create community, and just have fun together chatting about characters and settings that we love.

Art, writing, and creating allows us to explore and imagine different worlds than the ones around us. Which seems even more important when there's such turmoil in real life, like now.

Anywho, I don't think it's a secret, but authors are the very first fans of the worlds and people their minds create. When I sit down to create something new, somewhere at my core, I have to truly believe in the intrinsic value and potential in jumbled rough drafts and half-scenes, whether I'm trying to entertain, enlighten, or horrify someone. It takes grit and faith to persevere through to a final manuscript ready to publish. And I know I have a lot of friends, authors, and artists I look up to who inspired and encouraged me to try this whole writing/publishing/creating business in the first place.

Frog and I have always been fans, geeks, and loyal friends who love fun first. Which is a long way of saying that I hope you, also, find many people to share, create, have fun, and read with. And I would love if Impulsive Walrus can be part of that.

I look forward to seeing around this brand new site! And I ask for your grace and patience as we get it up and running on all cylinders.

More great things to come in 2026 and onwards.
