All right. By now you know we're running a Kickstarter for Glen Must Die. You know we began the project effectively as a practical joke alongside the amazing Paul Jenkins, creator of The Sentry and the writer of many, many different other comic projects.
Here's what I haven't really gotten around to saying yet: Damn are these some good stories.
Turns out that authors absolutely love to kill characters. Give them a prompt to make sure a certain character dies, and their creativity absolutely sparks. It goes through the roof. They deliver some of the coolest stories I've seen.
So, yes--the anthology is a prank aimed at Paul's friend, Glen. And we're happy as heck to be a part of that.
But putting all that aside--this is gonna be a really, really good book. I was absolutely bombarded with great submissions, and I got to take my pick. The cream of the crop, as it were.
So it's time for me to back that up with a free ebook sample. Brad Sewell is, to be honest, probably not a name you recognize (yet). I didn't select authors for this thing based on fame--I selected them based on quality. I'd never heard of Brad before he submitted his story to us either.
But his story damn near killed me as well as Glen.
